Celebrating One Year of Evil Eye Pottery

ree

It's been a year since I started Evil Eye Pottery, and I wanted to share a bit of my journey with you. A while back, I was just another Bay Area girl looking for a new hobby. I decided to give pottery a try, bought a wheel, and signed up for some classes. What started as a fun pastime quickly turned into a daily obsession. I was hooked.

In the beginning, there was a lot of trial and error. I made all sorts of wonky pieces, experimenting with different styles and techniques. But it wasn’t until I started making decorative vases that I truly found my niche. There was something about the shape and the endless creative possibilities that really spoke to me. I could express myself in ways I hadn't imagined, and that’s when I knew I had found my sense of style.

After a year of practicing like crazy, Evil Eye Pottery was born. I jumped on Instagram and TikTok, sharing videos of myself making vases, mugs, bowls and all sorts of pieces using stoneware clay. A real game-changer for me was getting a mini kiln for my home studio. It made experimenting with glazes and firing techniques so much easier. I could create and test pieces right at home, which opened up all kinds of creative possibilities.

Today, I'm excited to announce the restock of my online store. This drop includes a stylish mix of vases, home decor pieces, and mugs—each one made with a lot of love. As I look back on this past year, I'm incredibly grateful for the support from friends, family and followers on social media . Your enthusiasm has been a huge inspiration, pushing me to keep creating and improving. Here's to many more years of pottery and creativity. Thank you for being part of the Evil Eye Pottery journey!
